Why We’d Buy It
Whenever you buy something new, it always comes with a bit of a learning curve.
With a bike, though, it’s nothing you can’t handle. It comes with several things already put together: the gears and main chain, both the front and rear brakes, and the wheels/tubes/tires.
There is a second, shorter chain that you do have to attach, but it isn’t difficult. You will also have to unhook the front brake to put the front wheel on.(This was one of the things I tried to guess how to do it and messed up, but the correct way is actually very easy.)
The tires will probably be flat when you take them out of the box, but the tubes are in there–you just have to fill them up. Even if you’ve never put a bike together before, this shouldn’t be too daunting of a task. And once you’re done, you’ll be able to enjoy many hours of riding!

I was impressed with this bike. The quality is top-notch, and the welding is also high quality.

Electric Bike FAQ
What is the best compact electric bike?
There are a lot of great compact electric bikes on the market these days, so it depends on your budget and what features you’re looking for. If you want a top-of-the-line model with all the bells and whistles, you’ll likely have to spend quite a bit more than if you’re looking for a basic bike to get around town.
Some of the things you might want to consider when choosing a compact electric bike include the following:
How much do you want to spend? Remember that even though compact electric bikes are more affordable than full-sized models, they can still be pretty pricey. We recommend any of the electric bikes listed in this article.
Are folding electric bikes heavy?
No, most folding electric bikes are not heavy. They’re often relatively lightweight and easy to carry around. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule – some folding electric bikes may be a bit heavier than others – but overall, they’re not typically overly heavy.
Which is the best electric bike to buy?
It depends on your needs and budget.
If you’re looking for a basic commuter bike, I recommend the VIVI Electric Bike for Adults. It’s affordable and has a great range.
What are the disadvantages of electric bikes?
The disadvantages of electric bikes are that they can be heavier than regular bikes, more expensive than standard bikes, and they may not always be as efficient as traditional bikes.
Electric bikes have batteries and motors, making them heavier than regular bikes. They also may require more maintenance than standard bikes because the moving parts are electric instead of mechanical.
And finally, electric bikes may not always be as efficient as regular bikes in terms of how far they can travel on a single charge.
How long do e-bike batteries last?
That depends on the make and model of eBike, as well as the type of battery. Generally speaking, Lithium-ion batteries tend to last longer than other batteries.
Many eBike batteries can last anywhere from 20 to 40 miles on a single charge, but that will also depend on how much weight the bike carries and how often and steeply the bike is being ridden. If you regularly travel more than 20 miles at a time, you’ll likely need to replace your battery more often.
But overall, eBike batteries are designed to last several years without needing to be replaced. So if you’re looking for a bike that doesn’t require regular.
Why are electric bikes so heavy?
Electric bikes are heftier than traditional bicycles because they contain a motor and battery. The weight of these components can add up, making the bike significantly heavier.
E-bikes often have full suspensions and wider tires, contributing to the increased weight.
Despite being heavier, electric bikes are still an excellent choice for many riders since they provide a boost of power that can make cycling up hills and over long distances much easier.
What is a good weight for an electric bike?
Electric bikes tend to be on the heavier side, so if you’re looking for a lightweight option, you might want to opt for a regular bike. However, the best weight for an electric bike depends on your specific needs and preferences.
A heavier weight might not be an issue if you’ll be using your e-bike mainly for commuting. But if you plan to do a lot of off-road riding, or if you need to carry your e-bike up and down stairs often, a lighter weight might be better.
Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide what’s most important to you in an electric bike.
Does weight matter for electric bikes?
It depends on the particular electric bike. For some bikes, weight is a major factor in how fast and how far they can travel; for others, it’s not as important.
Generally speaking, the heavier the bike, the more battery power it will require to move it around. And the more battery power it requires, the less distance you’ll be able to travel on a single charge.
So if you’re looking for an electric bike that will let you travel long distances, you’ll want a lightweight one.
What is the most powerful electric bike?
There’s no definitive answer to this question as it depends on a few factors, such as what you’ll be using the bike for and your budget. However, we can narrow things down a bit and take a look at some of the most powerful electric bikes on the market.
If you’re looking for an electric bike that can really pack a punch, take a look at the TotGuard 26” Fat Tire Electric Bike. This bad boy has a top speed of 21 mph and a range of 30 miles – more than enough to get you where you need to go.
