There’s something about being in nature that just feels good. Maybe it’s the fresh air, or the sound of the birds chirping. Whatever it is, there’s no denying that getting away from it all can be incredibly rejuvenating. But Where To Go Camping? If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then camping is definitely for you. But where should you go? If you’re in the Pacific Northwest, then you’re in luck. This region is home to some of the most beautiful camping spots in the country. Here are just a few of our favorites.
Where To Go Camping
- Olympic National Park – Washington
Olympic National Park is a true paradise for nature lovers. With its towering mountains, pristine coastline, and lush rainforests, there’s something for everyone here. There are numerous campgrounds located within the park boundaries, so you can pick and choose your perfect spot. A few of our favorites include Deer Park, Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, and Mora Campground. - Smith Rock State Park – Oregon
Smith Rock State Park is one of the most popular camping destinations in Oregon, and for good reason. The park features stunning views of the Cascade Mountains, as well as a wide variety of hiking trails to explore. There are also numerous climbing routes if you’re looking for a bit of adventure. The best time to camp here is between May and October when the weather is warm and dry. - Crater Lake National Park – Oregon
Crater Lake National Park is home to, you guessed it, Crater Lake – the deepest lake in America. The lake was formed over 7,000 years ago when Mt. Mazama erupted and collapsed in on itself. Today, the lake is a popular destination for swimming, fishing, and boating. There are two main campgrounds within the park boundaries – Mazama Village and Lost Creek Campground – both of which offer stunning views of Crater Lake.
There are so many amazing camping spots in the Pacific Northwest that it’s hard to narrow it down to just a few favorites.
However, if we had to choose, we would recommend Olympic National Park, Smith Rock State Park, and Crater Lake National Park.
These destinations offer something for everyone – whether you’re looking for breathtaking views or a bit of adventure – and they’re all absolutely beautiful places to spend a few days (or weeks) enjoying nature at its finest.
